Whilst in London, i visited an exhibition put on in a collaboration between Showstudio and Maison Margiela at the Serpintine Gallery, Kensington Gardens. This exhibition was one of the highlights of my trip as the work i saw really struck a creative cord in me.
The video itself was beautiful and exciting, but what made the experience so much better was the fact you could go watch the video with a VR headset on, and interact with the environment more in 360 whilst sat on chairs that spin around. Pulling on the theme of over stimulation in todays age, i believe this video has captured it perfectly by the use of heavily saturated colour, bright neon lights and unusual scenery. This way of exhibiting work was completely knew to me and created a really unique experience, which i found really compelling.
