Street Style - London Fashion Week A/W 19

From the 14th to the 18th February 2019, i went to London along side many of my course to attend and shoot street style at London Fashion Week A/W 2019. i found this trip extremely useful and it allowed me to practice my street style photography.

I mostly shot outside 180 The Strand which was the London Fashion Week show space, where many of the designers such as Asai and Bora Aksu, to name a couple, showcased their new collections. The more exclusive designer names such as Viveienne Westwood, Burberry and Molly Goddard didn't publicise their location, however, one of our tutors knew the location for the Victoria Beckham and Burberry show so we were able to shoot outside them - which was an amazing experience.

In terms of the technical side of shooting street style, i used a 24-105mm Canon lens on a Canon 7d. the 24-105 is a great all round lens that allowed me to get both wide angle and tight crop images - however, next time i go down i will bring an Sigma 85mm due to it being a very sharp, much higher quality lens with the ability to go to a low aperture which is very useful as many of the locations had dark lighting conditions.
